Irish Setter Havoc Boots

I was talking with the owner of a Red Wing store. He said Red Wing sends boots to China if they use glue. USA not allowed to use that strong glue anymore in our factories. If soles are sown on, they are made here. They tried using other countries other than China and it didn't work out.
He also said they remade the green kangaroo "Ted Williams" boot but you can only get in Europe. Only 6in I think. He was going to try to figure out how to get a pair shipped here for himself. For what it's worth!

I could not calculate how many miles these Irish Setter Kangaroo lights have on them. If my feet hadn't grown, I'd still be using them. They were part of my hunting history.

Old friends. :)

Amazon is having a boot sale now @ 20% off. I bought a pair of the Havocs last week there. Still around 170.00 with the discount. Best deal I could find on them. Haven't used them yet. Think I will wait and use them next season.

I should add that they were extremely narrow and had to send back the first pair for an EE size. I never wear wide shoes or boots but needed them in the Havocs.

I wear a wide boot and the Havocs in a EE fit me perfect. Very true to size, at least for me.

I thought it was odd. They were so narrow, it hurt. I had read a bunch of reviews about how true they were to size. Maybe I just got an odd pair...

Has anyone tried these, they look pretty good to me.
MEN'S 8" WATERPROOF BRIAR WITH SHARK TIP UPLAND RUGGED OUTDOOR BOOTS.
If I was a little smarter I would put up a link.

I too would like to know. One review said the tongue isn't connected all the way up so they are not waterproof beyond the bottom foot portion.

Yep, those are the ones, thanks for the link. I am going to have to try a pair and see for myself. Apparently I also need a tutorial on my computer so I can learn to capture those web addresses.

Can't help with those boots but here you go.... this tells you how to cut and paste... you will highlight any web address then cut and paste. This link teaches you how. http://www.webmasternow.com/copyandpaste.html

If you haven't tried the Irish Setters, give them a try. They are getting great reviews, waterproof, light and seem comfy. I loved them in the store... hopefully that'll be the case in the field. Best wishes!
