Tried the surgical glove under WindStopper gloves, hands froze faster because the compression of the surgical gloves interfered with circulation.

When I was a flight medic I would buy the cheap brown jersey gloves by the dozen and wear a pair of latex gloves underneath the jersey ones during scene flights in the middle of winter. I could do most things with them on but my hands were always colder with the latex gloves on compared to no latex under the jersey gloves. At the end of the flight I would just throw them away. People on scene would look at me funny when I showed up with those gloves but they kept my fingers from freezing on some of those prolonged extrications.
