House is sold!!!!

Our house in eastern Washington is finally sold and we're heading back to Alaska where we belong. We need to be out of the house on 29 March but buying where we are going will take a little longer as we need to wait for the season to open up. Not much on the market in the dead of winter so we'll be camping in the camper for a bit. I also have to wrap up some things back in Yooperland.

Been a hoot hunting pheasant here in the 48, don't know when I'll head south again with a gun as I'll have all the things like like up North.

take care and god bless every one
Scott

Good Luck and Congrats. I hope you once again enjoy your dreams up in Ali eska...

Well, you made it happen.

I know you're leaving the pheasant scene, but try to drop in once in a while. Maybe give us an update on those pheasants we hear about once in awhile (in Alaska);)

Good luck.:)

I read that Alaska has some decent sharptail hunting in some parts. You would think you could find a few pheasants as well. I would love to hunt grouse and ptarmigan up there someday. Congrats on moving back to the last frontier.

I didn't know that QH until I read your post.;) Thank you.

Here's a link for more info regarding Sharptails in Alaska if anyone is interested.

I'd like to add a few photos for wild pheasants in Alaska. There's a blog where a woman posts updates about wild pheasants near and around her home. In the winter months she'll catch them feeding from her feeder in her back yard and at times.

Nice pics!

Those pheasants feeding in the tree are eating the berries from a "High Bush Cranberry"
High Bush Cranberries are fed on heavily by Ruffed Grouse in NC MN.
