Those of you that frequent the forums know that I have posted a few threads regarding the ongoing firearms deer season. Unfortunately, I've had nearly zero luck at my usual spot. Sure, I could have taken a 300-yard shot with my Marlin 30/30, but I'm an ethical hunter, and believe in making a clean kill.

If anyone has some land on the Eastern 1/3rd of the state, and wouldn't mind me taking a deer, I would be much obliged.
 
man i wish i could cuz there a still a couple big ol boys walkin around on the piece i hunt, but landowner wont allow no rifle hunting there
 
A lot of people won't due to cattle and the like, which is understandable. Get some guy out there all hopped on on an energy drink or something, and they pay no attention to what's behind the scope.

Have you seen a lot of deer around the lake? If so, I wouldn't mind sitting out next week. I'm not stepping foot in that place this weekend though, they'll probably be a small militia out there.
 
ya ive quit a few deer around the lake, i live south of the damstore about 2 miles and usually drive up there about every night, seen a few good bucks up there too
 
Awesome... Hopefully they'll still be around after this weekend. I imagine you'll see a lot of vehicles up there today and tomorrow.
