Have any preseason rituals?

I've never missed my first bird of the season in 45 years. My cousin however,never hits anything opening trip. He always wiffs on birds he mistakes for shaptails...lol.

Well if he got decapitated after his first miss 45 years ago... it'd be pretty hard to hit anything since.

Actually I do have a ritual. I look at all my bird hunting pics before opening day.I wish I had taken more.

Opening the KS Season for the 30th year with the same group and I have never missed an opening weekend. Something about a tradition! This year I will be adding some extra insurance and bringing a small vail of Josie's ashes along for the hunts. I also listen to Alice in Chains song "Rooster"of course.

Im confused. Is your cousin the one that is tarded or is that freind? Or are their lots of dudes rockin the Downs up in Mountana?

One of my friends got wacked in the head when he was in the army, so he isn't right.My cousin isn't right either, but they are good to hunt with.
