Good Bird report, a new spot to try

We don’t even get out of our PJ’s…pay other guests to shoot our birds and let us take photos next to the bird boards they hang from…the blintzes and charcuterie plates are too good to leave! Yup, good stuff…

I'd be sitting out on the deck, smoking the love grass, watching those Gucci types go out and all the Blue bloods.

We hunt within 3 miles of a guy that releases birds and see or kill maybe 1 tame a year. He doesn't release on the scale a major operation would and road hunters from Sioux Falls get most of them.

The reason people get divorced is, they go bird hunting without telling their wife.

That’s nothing…. Twenty years ago I got an intact 20 month old male Lab without asking. He was a field trial failure from a friend of a friend. He had it sold to a guy in Oklahoma but when it was time to take delivery the guys wife put the kabosh on it. The guy put the word out he was heading south with the dog and would let it go for what the other guy still owed. I was like WTH just bring him to my house I’ll figure it out. . It was a rough couple months. The dog was a kennel dog and had not spent a lot of time in the house. Well house breaking a nearly two year old was not fun. At least we have hardwood floors. She ended up loving that dog and we both cried our eyes out when we lost him at 13. He was quite a dog
