Anyone getting ready to lock and load for spring turkey? Will be heading out to the happy hunting grounds in NW on Tuesday, with an always pleasant stop in Russell at Meridy's for a drink and dinner. That cute bartender makes a great martini.

I went and bought my tags. Didn't get out to hunt today, but did see several hen going through our alfalfa field. May try to spend some time in the blind tomorrow.

Headed out tomorrow evening to roost them for the next morning.:thumbsup: Get to hunt till noon on the opener , then back to work.

They started to show up around my place. Had not been seeing any so I put some corn out to see what showed up. The Deer and Raccoon will have that all eaten in one night.
