I agree Steve, that is a great photo. And thats coming from two pointy dog guys. ;)

Thats OK I have alot of pointy dog friends!!

If you take alot of pics you finally get one that works. That pic was taken a couple years back with a 35mm cannon with a 100x400 sigma lens with slow shutter speed and hand held so it was a lucky shot IMO:)

Great Pic's---Montana opens in the morning and my 12 year old daughter starts her first season---hope to see flushes like the pics Hunting locally first 2 days than to central Montana for 4 days next week-----Told her school she will miss 2 days for hunting----found out up till 7 years ago they closed school for first week of big game hunting----God Bless Montana

Montana is good to kids----with her hunter safety card she received the following FREE liscense---reg hunting upland bird water fowl big game including elk and deer tags which can be used on either sex in all but special draw areas. Any state top that?

KB thanks for bumping this one up. There are some really great pics that I hadn't seen before!

This is one I've posted before ......but thought it was kind of neat how the picture caught the bird banking into the wind.

Great Post and idea! Man...what is it about these birds!

Man...what is it about these birds!

They have a way with us don't they---as they do with our bird dogs too!

Since ancient times mankind has done what he can to propagate the ringneck pheasant. Looking at those flushing photos it's no wonder.:)

These are from another thread but thought I'd recycle them:). A couple photos are a bit blurry because I cropped the photos as much as possible.
