Maybe we should start a new forum called the "Benevolent Blog for Guidance of Wayward Would Be Pheasant Shooters". Those posing questions should have less than 10 posts, contributed nothing except pleas for guidance, claim some malady, illiteracy, as in unable to read previous posts, or the myriad of info available from outdoor publications, the state game department, or due to some medical anomoly, be unable to concentrate long enough to take the time to do any personal research. You get extra credit for, and priority consideration, if you wait till the season is actually is underway, not taking any precious time to build rapport or contribute meaningfully to the discussion. I nominate Carptom and Spence as moderators, they will have a tough time, as there are many needy, and limited resources. Those wishing to contribute should be willing to open their private ground, give GPS co-ordinates to prefred public options, road conditions, lodging and food locations and ratings, field size, cover type, and where the birds are likely to be at any given hour, where they flush to on the first encounter, ( these guys are notoriously bad shots because they don't practice off season either, to much effort, to little time.) Reward..... Heaven if you make it, with 24crack hunting dogs and every nmorning is opening day. Yes I'm a "dick" and I have a smart mouth, I am Unapologetic.
