Fiocchi introduces the 3" 28ga shotshell.

"A 3" 28 is just the latest maketing gimmick in shotshells, and would be nothing more than a novelty.. You should buy a box to put on the shelf next to other extinct ideas like the Remington E-Tronix ignition rifle/ammo."

They said that about the 3.5" 12ga shell when Federal and Mossberg brought the guns/ammo out together. Now every conceivable manf. and type of gun is produced/offered in 3.5" 12ga.

Time will tell, they must have had some info/call for this somewhere in the world for them to start tooling up to load the ammo.

I wonder if they would function(safely fire) in the old 27/8" chambered model 12 28ga? 1/8" is pretty close. I have seen 3.5" 12 Ga shells that varied in length at least that much.

Baschieri & Pellagri. They sell what I believe is Italian made ammunition that is high quality and delivered freight free to your door.
Check out www.bandpusa.com for their listings and price. Take a look at their website, there is a lot of good info there. And by the way I have no affliation with this company other than using their shot shells.
