Good fall for the pups. River 3rd in IL, 4th in MI, 3rd in MN this weekend and Odie won the Open. I had fun in my only fall trial.:thumbsup:

Using those dogs against unsuspecting birds is almost an unfair advantage.:thumbsup:

If you want to work your dogs for me this season I'm sure I can conjure up some sort of "first place" ribbon for you dogs. I promise it would look good on wall right next to the other ribbons:D

LOL. I will take luck. I am blessed with a couple good hounds. I just drive the car. Sometimes right off the cliff,LOL. It is at the point in age for both of them that they are getting it done. Odie is a placement away from his FC, and River the same in her AFC. Both have points in both, so it gets scattered about. I don't get to play in too many trials. Wish I could. Both dogs are qualified for both the open and amateur National this year. Very cool, very rewarding. I can only go to 1 though. They are a week apart this year, :( :( :(

You know, the funny thing is. I gave them to Ken Willis to run this fall because I was so busy. And I never got to run them. He got the two with River. I got them back last Thursday at a trial I was apprentise judging. Drove 6 hrs and ran Sat and Sun. First time I ever placed both in the same trial.:thumbsup: I have finished with both. But only one has gotten a placment till now. Only fall trial I ran LOL.
