I’ve been there but it has been a spell.
Hunted around Colome. This is what I recall.
Dallas is a pretty interesting place to say the least. They import talent early in the season and when the main push of hunters runs its course it slowly dwindles down to the local talent. One place has a cover the other was walk in.
Not much else up there to do besides the two places on the main drag. Like every small town the sidewalks roll up at dark. Food was pretty good at Frank Day’s. Never ate at Cody’s.
I can say we always Dallas left with a story. When the group of us get together somebody says, “Ah Dallas.” And we smile.
