Duluth Trading Co.

My briar pants are in their 4th season with minimal wear. I also have a Duluth chore coat with a multitude of pockets - great coat!

Nice to hear they are wearing tough.

Just a warning for anyone who makes a visit to one of their stores. If you are not prepared to spend money, leave all checks and credit cards at home. Otherwise it will be very hard to walk out of that store empty handed....;)

Agreed, I went to the one in the Twin Cities and spent way more time looking at stuff like clothing than I ever do...and plenty of interesting/useful accessories.

Duluth trading Fire hose Briar pants. Just got them. Awesome pants !!

Post how they hold up please. I'm about worn through my bibs I bought in high school, and I've now been out of college for 5 years :nutz: I'm getting holes in the heels and just worn from all the CRP.

I have two pairs and they are the most comfortable hunting pants I've every owned. However, hunting thorny stuff, they do not stop the thorns -- really they don't do much. About the only thing I am disappointed in them about. They are still very water resistant even 2 1/3 seasons in. They need to double up the crotch material though, it tears easy on those tight barb wire fences.

Had a chance to wear the Briar pants for the first time last Saturday. Very comfortable without being stiff. The material is stout, but doesn't have that Filson stiff feel at all. Unless I do something dumb like get them caught on a barbed wire fence, these should last quite a long time. Quality is exceptionally good.

I hear ya on barbed wire, although I'm not sure anything else except Filson double tin cloth would stand up to barbed wire even remotely.

I actually did walk thru some thorny stuff and didn't seem to have an issue. I had more issues with the thorns on my jacket than the pants.

I got a pair this year so far I like them. There regular firehouse did not hold up that well for me hunting in the woods. Thorns go right through them. Wish the briar pants had the pockets on the leg like the regular pants do.

Went to the new Duluth Trading store in Sioux Falls yesterday. Tried on the Duluthflex Fire Hose Jeans and the Duluthflex Logger pants. Really like the feel and quality of the pants, just not the fit. A little too baggy in the thighs for my liking. But I guess when you wear a 36x30 that's what you get! :) Either my legs need to grow 2-4 inches or my waist needs to shrink to a 33. One is impossible and the other is highly unlikely. Anyway, didn't buy anything. Very nice store.

Hey, that's the same size that I wear.:D

I sure like my Briar pants. I hate anything that is snug fitting for hunting pants. Easy to get a pair of long johns underneath and still have plenty of freedom and room in the thighs. To each his own I guess.
