Thank you for posting this. It looks much better for ne colorado. Kansas still looking tough. The snow pac is melting and flooding will occur on much of the north Platte river for the next 3 weeks, according to the casper star tib. The flows at grey reef will be 8,000 cfs and 8,400 cfs at casper.
That's 4 times normal. To bad we can't ship that water to Kansas.

in need of a boat
I am in definate need of a boat after these rains the last 24 hours and its still coming not complaining a bit i just hope the hail stays away for another coupleweeks so the chicks are a little bigger at least here logan county has no chicks left they had softball size hail this morning

How did that huge line of thunderstorms stretched all across eastern and southeastern CO earlier today & currently running all the way from OK City up into NE east of you possibly skip over you altogether???

My dad always said we didn't pay the preacher enough.
My place is usually drier than most of the area, but this year is really tough. It will rain and the desert will come to life once again.

I went out and strung some tools around the yard, washed the truck AND left the windows down. I think I've done all that I can do..
Guess I could pull the tarp off the haystack... Just went through the third wildfire of the year, within a mile of my house.
150+ acres this time. One about 5 acres, and that 500-600 one. I took this picture from my front porch. I've 'ranged' those rocks on the right @ about 480 yrds.
Comon' rain!... pleeeease!
