Mike, thanks for pointing out that I wasn't terribly clear in my post. Dangit! The dog hammock was $30. Ace was, & continues to be, more costly than that. Hell, he's chewed up three $12 TV remotes in the last 2 months alone!

A5, thanks for the heads up. Leaving for SD tomorrow and, thanks to you, Amazon delivered that hammock today.

2003 F250 Crew. Used some short bungees to tie the rear loops in over the back of seat. Looped the front loops over the built in headrest on the front seats.

I think it will work just fine. The girls seem to like it already.

A 9 hour ride to the Camp. Both dogs just sacked out in the hammock. Very happy with it so far. The black really shows the amazing amount of yellow hair 2 dogs can lay down!

I know! Glad you guys are happy with it. I got mine & knew you guys should know about it. Just wish I'd had one 20 years ago & wish I'd invented it.

I run a different brand and the dogs love it as well. I put the front seat straps under the headrest around the metal posts.

I kinda wish the 03 had those metal post headrests. But it works ok and I don’t feel the straps. The old blue truck has 167k on her and is doing fine. The V10 pulled a 150 out of a steep ditch today

A5, one more thank you! Our trip was either deep snow or mud every day. Lots of slop on the hammock and not all over the second row. A quick shake out of the hammock left it ready to go. Home now and a hose down has it looking good.

I have an Orvis hammock my in-laws bought me for Christmas last year. My golden Oakley loves it, but he refuses to lay on the seat of the truck. Rather curls up in the actual hammock part, which I’m sure isn’t great for the headrest posts.
