Curious Zeb, did the boots just not work out or what? I was wondering about the Lewis boots and if they are durable and fit properly.

I actually had bought them a few years ago for my older dog because she had trouble in the snow keeping the snow from balling up between her toes. However, I never used them as she didn't hunt much after that. She was the one I had to put down a couple months ago. Elle, my 6 year old, has larger feet and they didn't fit so someone else may as well have them.

From what I've read about the Lewis boots, they are one of the best out there. I think the best way to put them on the dog is to use vet wrap around the legs above and below the top of the boot. Install the boot and then use duck tape to secure the boot to the leg. Here's a good video showing how to install.

I use the Lewis boots on my dogs when I hunt in sand burr country and they love them. They are the most reliable dog boots on the market in my opinion..
