Daisys first quail hunt

We took Daisy out for her first quail hunt this morning. We took it easy on her and only hunted for about 45 mins. She did great, hunted close, broke up the covey, and found singles well. I only shot two shots, but brought down two quail for Daisy. We need to work on retrieves and she needs to build her boldness but these will improve with time a field. Here's my brother proud of his young pup and her first quail.

Thank you, she's a local pup from the foothills of central California. Nothing special, but her family has been hunting quail for generations.
