Saw that today. To be honest, I was a bit surprised. The winter we had was one of the worst we've had in 20 some years.
We've had a decent spring, short as it was. A tad hot, but with a good amount of rain. The brood counts will give a better picture of what the season may bring.
Thank goodness they are a hardy bird!
