Cp33 Program

I am in the process of buying some land. It is a mixture of crop and pasture, with a lot of edge cover.

Do you know if the Cp33 program is still enrolling land in the program?

Think I could get several coveys going here.

Steve, not sure as much CRP enrollement is locked down now until new farm bill. Check with your local PF Biologist or FSA office and they can tell you more about elligibility.

You have to own it for a year anyways so by that time we should have a new farm bill and some new CRP acre.

Thanks for the insight. I am really looking forward to closing on the ground next month. I think I can turn this into a pretty nice place for quail and a few pheasants.

I see cedar trees. Cedar are greatest used in small quantity! Good news is they respond to fire. They are difficult to control with out it. But the property looks like it has a lot of natural promise, native pasture, ditches with water and hard cover. How big is it?
