Went home yesterday after work and mowed my yard. Temp. 103. Didn't take long for my buddy TAZ to join me.

Well, you do both look cooler. How does that swim cap hold-up in the water, JMc?

My only Springer was named Taz (actually Razmataz); great dog, but I gave him to an autistic boy with whom he had formed an amazing bond while we were working in front of their home a number of years ago back home in Montana. The lad's father asked if I'd sell Taz to him; he had never seen his Son so happy & responsive as he was playing with old Taz. I told him that I couldn't sell Taz, but I would be happy to give him to his Son as a gift. After that, I always figured that was the reason I bought Taz (it was on a whim, as I had a splendid Lab at the time.). The Lord works in mysterious ways . . .
 
That hat takes a beating but survives.

GREAT story for your old buddy Taz. My Taz was a rescue and we brought him home in December...only blanket I could find (or the wife would let me use) was a Tazmanian Devil throw. The rest is history.

If that doesn't warm your heart... you ain't got one. Sounds to me like the beginning of a storyline to the next motion picture blockbuster from Disney.Reinforces the point as to why dog people live longer.:10sign:
