Cats another Top 10 win

How many of you watched the Cats play MU tonight.

That was a big win, and a sweep of the Tigers on thier way out of the Big 12.

So we knock off two top 10 teams (Baylor and Mizzu) on the road in back to back games. :D

Probably got them into the tourney. Had they not beat Mizzou, they may have been headed to the NIT unless they won the Big 12 tournament. But, Rock Chalk Jayhawk.

Im so glad MU is getting the exit they deserve! Never before has one game brought two schools together like that. Congrats KSU, and bring it home KU...BYE BYE MU!!

One of the few times i pull for k-state. Still can't solve KU. Bill Self and Danny Manning are tough to beat. Manning has made Withey a NBA player this last year. Glad MU won't win the league this year either. I think it will be ugly in Lawrence this saturday. Ku by 14. Book it!

I am loving the way they have played the last two games. Especially after watching them stink up the court against KU and Texas in the previous two games. They had every opportunity to win that game against KU, and just pizzed it away... And the second half of that Texas game, geez that was just embarassing! Growing pains for the young players I guess... I'm really happy they have gotten their Chit together, hopefully just in time for March Madness!

Iowa State is no slouch, we need to show up big time on Saturday! Finish strong and we won't have to worry about the bubble!:D

And I know it is WAAAAY to early to be talking like this, but I am looking forward to seeing how these freshmen play next season. The future looks pretty bright, I think!

Fun game to watch. Fun to see how frank is developing these players. I think we will be in the tourney, but we will have one meltdown before then.

The Cats were predicted to be an 8 seed before that win, they were well in before hand.

I hope the Cats and KU meet up again this season. We have played so bad in both those games. KU is pretty good but not unbeatable. After all Mu beat KU in Columbia.

The Cat just have times where they can't throw it in the ocean. :(
When they are making a few shots, they can be tough to handle, just ask Baylor and Mizzou :D

As long as they don't meet up with Oklahoma again... OU is this season's Colorado.:( An average team that just seems to have KSU's number.

Missouri is probably saying the same thing about KSU...

Let's go Cyclones!!! Should be a good game this Saturday. I'll be happy if we can win one of the next 3 games. I do like watching Frank coach those cats.

The Cyclones have 3 pretty tough games left to play. The Cats could have won the game up there, but fell apart at the end.

It should be a good game but I would expect the Cats to win at home. But you never know

Kstate has a good chance of finishing ahead of Iowa State if they win today. Iowa State still has Baylor and MU to play. If they finished tied we have the tie break.

From what I've seen and heard, Spradling and a couple others may not be back. Seems to be several guys unhappy. Martins methods and temper may clear the bench again. What was it, 2 years ago when 5 players left?

I would like to know where your information comes from on this. I consistantly have heard pretty much the complete opposite of what you are saying.

I haven't heard that, but wouldn't be surprised at all. I know I definitely wouldn't want to play for Martin. Who else is supposedly leaving?

Not about to reveal the source, too much turmoil on that team already. Choose to believe me or not, you have to admit there have been several ups and downs with this team.

I didn't get to see the game but listened to it on the radio. Sounds like we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean again for most of the first half.

Iowa State is a different kind of team, and they are good when they are hitting the 3's.

Will is having a tough season shooting this year that is for sure. But I would not give up on him so quickly. He can shoot we saw that last season. Its got to be a confidence thing now.

They'll be okay. From what I have seen, the guys are playing their hearts out for Frank. That is evidenced by the defense. Yes, they are having some troubles scoring at times, but they are playing some tough D, and really scrapping for rebounds and loose balls.

If there is another defection, I would expect it to come from the bench. But that's pretty common nowadays. Guys who are not getting play time at one school can just bounce to another one... That has nothing to do with Coach Martin. That's just how college basketball is nowadays.

KSU was a pre-season pick for the toilet. I'm pretty impressed with what they have been able to do with such a young roster. Don't beat up on Spradling, or Rodriguez for that matter... You're talking about a sophomore and a freshman. They are just kids playing against some of the best senior guards in the nation.

Iowa State is totally unpredictable. They could win or lose to anybody in the nation depending on how they are shooting 3s. Hitting, they will beat anybody, and they were really hitting on Saturday.

Tough loss, but it's just one game. Got the atm's on Tuesday. Hope they have another good game on the road! GO STATE!!!
