Best training DVD

I am going to get a new GSP pup next month.

I have done all of my training on 4 dogs.

Just would like a good DVD that I could follow.

I heard Perfect Start from Perfection Kennels is good.

Any others?

I have the video and I have been to his clinics. They are great video's. Well worth the money.

You heard right. Very easy, low pressure way to finish a pointing dog to any level you desire. Great on screen displays as to when stimulation is being applied and when it's not. Timing is everything with this. The hardest part with the perfection kennel method and with any method for that matter is.. LOTS of birds (preferably pigeons) must be used and a launcher or two. Some dogs will catch on quicker and while some require more birds and more time depending on their temperaments.

You decide how far you want to take it and the 4 hours worth of step by step video for the complete set shows you how. If you can find a training group near you such as a NAVHDA chapter, there is nothing like hands on tutoring from people who have done a lot of training, but the videos are a good second alternative. Pricey but worth every penny IMO.:thumbsup:
