Best game cookbook?

Have a few from states, have the llbean cookbook and I even think one by Babe Winkleman.......all are good.

This is one I've used for 40 years. The recipes are all relatively easy and they are good. It's called "Easy Game Cooking" by Joan Cone.

Hunter, Angler, Gardener by Hank Shaw is pretty good.

Years ago, the State of Missouri re-printed a recipe book, with recipes from old-timey residents, written in colloquial english (e.g.:"get a mess a catfish"), which had all sorts of down-home instructions, including how to fatten an opossum before preparing the meal. Back when protein was hard to come by.

It was instructive and kind of fun to read. It may still be in print.
