Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 1 (20 Gauge)

Alot of guys knocking the Browning O/U . I dont know why I have the Browning Citori Lightning in a 20 with 28 in barrels. Yes it is heavier than the beratta which my buddy has but swings a hell of a lot smoother than the 686. In y opinion the 686 is good for snap shooting upland but for say doves or a pheasant out there 30 plus yds the Browning swings much better and my buddy with the 686 agrees. although too he has 26 in barrels which makes his case even worse for gun swing

I don't think there is anything wrong with either gun. I think it really comes down to your tastes and personal preference, just like Ford and Chevy (we all know Ford is better though:thumbsup:). I think both are very nice guns.

I totally agree!! It is how the gun fits the particular person. Growing up all I wanted was a Citori. Finally got to shoot one and thought it was a bit on the bulky side but still loved it. All the sudden when it came time to buy I was shouldering both and went with the Beretta. Does anyone else who owns a Beretta have 26 1/2" barrels? I thought it was a bit odd to have a gun that was to the 1/2 inch... I love it and would not trade for a citori, but I would buy a citori as they are both nice shooting.
