AmenBe careful, some of those ethos have barrel porting, and that is something you want to avoid at all costs.
Do tell? I've been thinking of ethos 12ga 26" and never considered Barrel porting, is porting a good or bad thing?Be careful, some of those ethos have barrel porting, and that is something you want to avoid at all costs.
Ported are insanely loud, especially for your friends to the left and right.. we had a thread couple weeks ago but I’ll repeat, shot a ported and non ported benelli back to back and made up my mind in one shot..Do tell? I would get the Montefeltro Ultra Light over the silver or the ethos. More modern technology and a much slimmer feel.Looking at grabbing either one of these guns in a 20 gauge. The Silver Featherweight would come in a 24" bbl and the ethos in a 26". Curious any thoughts from people who have shot or handled both?
I have one of these and it kicks hard. I am going to try and figure out a way to put a better recoil pad on it but try to keep the LOP the same or close to the same.I would get the Montefeltro Ultra Light over the silver or the ethos. More modern technology and a much slimmer feel.
Do you have the new version of the Ultra Light or the old one? Is yours a 20 or a 12?I have one of these and it kicks hard. I am going to try and figure out a way to put a better recoil pad on it but try to keep the LOP the same or close to the same.
Well if you have not bought it within the last 2 years then it's the older version. The thread is about a 20 gauge so of course a 12 will have some thump. A 20 gauge auto is going to be soft shooting. All my 20 gauge auto Benelli's are like BB guns with any shells.I'm thinking it may be the older version but I'm not completely sure. It's a 12 gauge and it kicks hard. I love the light weight but hate the recoil.
Yeah I have a franchi affinity 20 and it is a pleasure to carry and shoot.Well if you have not bought it within the last 2 years then it's the older version.
