Benelli Monte Price check

Saw a Benelli Monte in 20ga 24in barrel for 800 in a gun shop. Had a few dings in the stock but nothing major. Otherwise in good shape. That seems like a fair price. Thoughts???

If I can get over the Benelli commercial I might need to get me one.

just checked on line, the gun you are looking at sells for 1099 new, the silver goes for 1599 new, hope this helps:D by the way imho best shotgun ive ever owned, i love my monte's:thumbsup:

I have spent a lot of time looking at the Montefeltro 20s. I was looking at buying one until I made a deal on another light weight 20. That is about as cheap as they go for a 20. The 12 can be had for less but the 20s are a more saute after gun. If you look around. You can sometimes find a unfired or new new one in mint shape for near that. Online is your best bet

I have several Benelli's and the $800 may be a touch high due to the dings and such. I just sold a 12 Monte like new for $850. As others have said, check around. They are great guns.

Had a 12 in the Monte, Legacy, and SBE II; did not need three; also have a H&K Super90 20ga, and love it. Took the Monte $ and bought a Ruger Red Label 28 ga. No regrets as the RRL 28 may be my new "coolest" gun. As for the 1911's, you are right about the SIS; actually have all three sizes within the family. My dad and brother are gun nuts as well. 1911's seem to be the choice for us. I have a few plastic guns as well but they are not photo friendly...

Again, no problem on the handle; I've been JMc forever and don't mind the subtle difference.
