I will be getting started on a new shelter belt (8 rows 1100ft long) in a s shape. Just picked up the grass seed mix to put in 40 acres, also 23 acres of the PF honey bee and monarch initiative mix, lots of wild flowers , forbes and lequmes along with some native grasses. Pics will follow

Sounds like a steep hill to climb and a great project Ford. I'd expect that you'll see some significant changes in bird numbers in coming years. Way to go!!!
