Hey my buddy also emailed me this, if someone is interested.

My gal wants to sell this 410/870 that belonged to her mom and was her snake gun. It's the old run production, has to be at least 30 years old, not the new crap guns, this is the real deal, a 410 wingmaster. It's prolly been shot less than 100 times and doesnt have a scratch on it, the old gal took great care of it, no rust, none, it's in perfect shape for a gun this age.
I blue booked it, worth between $650/$775 will take $500
 
Nice older 870. If you don't get any bites here I would try listing it on GunBroker.com.

A few years ago there were some guys that I know in the Redfield, SD area that were thinking about having hunt and the only gun you could use was a .410. Don't think it ever happened but it would be a fun hunt to do. Now before anyone gets on their "high horse" and starts taking me to task for hunting pheasants with a .410 I want to point out that everyone of these guys are a veteran hunter and very good shots so the limits of the .410 are very much understood.

I have friends that hunt geese in Canada every year, they stay for a week. Late in the week, one day is 410 day. They get them in close and kill them with steel shot. No lie. :rolleyes:

It's wonderful that they never wound and lose any geese....that would raise fun to unethical.

I am pretty sure the guy in the group that goes through at least 100 rounds of 3.5" 12 gauge shells most mornings, wounds more with the 12. All because he thinks it has unlimited range. :eek:
 
I wouldve bought it the day it was listed for the amount listed, but when push came to shove, the stock had been chopped by almost 2 inches.. If a youth length stock interests you, go for it. Its a pretty nice piece..

I didn't catch that from the pic. I will have to ask my dad if he's interested still. It was gonna be a surprise for Christmas for him, but if stocks been cut idk, I'll let him make that call.

I just didn't want someone "cutting in line" so to speak.

Sorry for the false advertising, but my buddy decided to keep the gun - he does have something else to sell. Not sure what it means. :eek:

Fwd: I decided I will keep 410 for myself, she seems a bit sentimental over it, buy another stock, and use it to play with it, and thank you for passing these along! I have an Emerald diamond platinum ring appraised at $17,000 two months ago that I will take bottom dollar $10k for!
