Actually he was kind of like that guy, he was not a military guy, but he was good friends with Marcus daily, and he was his land agent. He had a fancy ranch near opportunity Montana.. He came to Montana from Utah 1862. I think he came to Virginia City, he was a Mormon actually, but that was a big family secret. We haven't had any Mormons in the family since my great-great-grandfather.

Sometimes setting up private land is kind of a hassle, and public land is convenient, and very challenging. If you can get a public land rooster in Montana, you are doing well, and you have skills. The thing about public land, when it's very mild out, is it's very hard to get close.

For the inquiring minds here, can you please explain the permission getting benefit of looking/being retarded? I'm trying to look at it from a landowner's perspective, & I'm obviously missing something. Maybe because I'm not a landowner.

Yes I suppose people would watch LOL. Golden hour does a good job on his videos, and so does A5, and that guy with the sadders makes pretty good videos. I don't watch those videos of those guys that go out and camp and do all that, or the flash or any of those shows because I think they are set up.
 
When your nephew comes out, see if he'll wear a camera on him. I'd really love to see in a blooper reel him staring at his phone when the big rooster chooses to flush out and make his way to freedom.

Well the short of it is, if you look like you're retarded, or just some degenerate, your chances of getting permission go up, because they feel sorry for you.
