They taste okTastes like chicken?
Yeah like the mormonsGoose, maybe if you were in ancient Egypt you could have stopped the plague of locusts with your 28 and a pallet load of shells.
I've got some grasshoppers you can hunt, and some land in Florida.Had one of the most outstanding September hunting seasons.
I have been involved in taking 100 birds since September 1st.
Pigeons, doves, geese, prairie chickens, ruffed grouse. Over half of the birds were taken over or retrieved by my dog.
They have protein, the taste is bad.Tastes like chicken?
That’s keeping your dog happy, but I would never mention pigeons and ruffed grouse in the same sentence. It lacks respect.
Thanks, Dad.All is forgiven, keep shooting my son.
We'll be wearing shorts in your deer stand if it keeps upI hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but the forecast is showing another string of 80+ degree days later next week. Even mid 80's possible. And still no measureable rain in sight. Guess we'll just keep going with summer here.

I think it was 2, maybe 3 years ago I was sitting in my deer stand on opening day wearing nothing but a long sleeve and pants in the afternoon. Think temps were in the 70s that weekend. Some people seem to think that early ice fishing season is not that far off either...
I realize the weather can change pretty dramatically this time of year but its going to take a massive shift in the pattern here to even consider that before 2025 at this rate.
