20 guage auto?

I thought about the a400 too but it’s not a light gun. I’m sure it’s tough as hell but didn’t want to carry it all day, would kind of defeat the purpose of a new 20 gauge for me
My Upland 20 with 28" bbl weighed 6.5 lbs out of the box. As a friend once said, "Sure, a super-light gun carries easier up the hill, but I'd like to be able to hit something once I get there."

I usually prefer a breaking gun for birds, but mine weigh around 7 lbs. I'm old and feeble but the A400 Upland strikes me as about as ideal and you can get if you want a S/A.

That’s actually not too bad. Sweet gun.

One of these found its way into my truck today too. Almost got a Benelli but it was almost double the cost.
I'm all for it, but man you must have a giant gun collection. Seems like you're buying them constantly. Is it hard to pick which one to hunt with?

I’ve got a good collection. Its very difficult at times but I have a son that is starting to claim some of what I have. Right now, my favorite is my A5 Sweet 16. My son has laid claim to my A300 so I wanted something to replace it. Decided I wasn’t going to break the bank so I got a Franchi Affinity 3.0. I would have bought a 20 ga SBE, but it was just a little more than I wanted to spend.

Being older, I too like the looks of nice wood and deep blue metal. When shooting clays or skeet, the wood rarely gets dinged up. However, when the weather is bad and/or there are lots of fences to cross in the field, the composite stocked guns make sense. One of my Citori's is at the wood fixer right now getting refinished. Even being careful, one hunt is all it took to get scratched and dinged up.
I think I do more damage when they’re in the gun safe that using them.

I know that sound and cringe feeling when you pull one from the back of the safe, clinkaty clink. I've always wondered what the difference is between the weight of composite and walnut?
