That's a nice find! If you haven't shot it much, I would have the chambers measured. I think they were 2 and 9/16, but maybe they were lengthened before.

I have one in 16 gage as well as 12. . John Browning was a genius !! Very nice museum in Ogden.

This gun hasn't been fired in over 100 years.It was bought new in 1875 by my great grandfather, and was a special order.

If you hunt any non-toxic areas (eg. WPA's) bismuth is safe in these old guns. I have a 52 A5 12 gauge and you're not supposed to shoot modern steel through those old guns.
