1.5 inches of rain last night on the farms we hunt near Platte - good times!

One of my farmers texted this morning and says good corn (for them) is pretty much guaranteed now. Any more rain is gravy and there is more predicted tonight and tomorrow. Get the corn matured and out of the fields, except for strips of course. Glad for the farmers and us hunters.

I got about 1/2 inch last night too. Potentially more later today, and again Sunday.

Its probably too late for the corn in some areas here, but I'm sure the soybeans appreciate it. Thank goodness that the extreme heat went away too, that was miserable the last couple weeks.
