Looks like we are to get some snow in the area on Saturday. Who's going out to chase some birds around? I'm planning on going in the morning but it may be raining at that time and not have changed over to snow yet. I prefer to hunt in snow instead of rain.

Took the dogs out for a little evening run and they ended up with a couple of points. A bird was in the switchgrass. This one was on the edge of the woods. Looking forward to the day I can carry the gun instead of the camera. The pictures were taken with my phone and are not the best.

Has anybody used multiple johnny houses for quail? I have one johnny house set up and I was wondering if I set up another one a 1/4 mile away would the birds go back and forth to each house? There would be enough cover between the houses to offer the birds protection.
