Has anyone else noticed a lack of hens this year? Last Saturday we hunted Los Banos NWR and got 2 roosters and didn't see one hen (we usually flush 5 or 6), same at Grey Lodge the 2 times we hunted there. Even up in the rice fields in Richvale we only saw 6 hens in the 14 days we hunted up...

Here is my new pup, he doesn't have a name yet so for now he is Lb (little boy). If he turns out to be half the hunter his dad is these quail and pheasants are in trouble.
