I’ve got 2 AYA 20 gauges, a box lock and a sidelock…a step up from Ugartechea…but both are fantastic makers from the Eibar region of Spain, where virtually all Spanish guns have come from…Grulla, Arrieta, Garbi, etc…

Love my Ugartechea boxlock 28 gauge…have 3 of their boxlock 16 gauges, and 1 of their sidelock 12 gauges…great Spanish maker, great price points….think my 28 is a grade 1, extractor…

CREP is a strong program in SD, at least within 50 miles either side of the James River, which runs from ND to NE…lots of decent to real good CREP spots…it’s private land that’s in CRP, but open to public hunting…non-tox not required…

I understand why all generations who farm, especially younger ones, are forced to farm every extra square inch of ground that they can. It doesn’t hurt for us hunters to know what programs are out there habitat-wise, especially for marginal farmground, and be able to talk somewhat...

The Flush did a show 4 years ago with one of my good friends…he’s a top wildlife photographer, gets covers a lot in the major publications…it was all legit, I hunt that area and have been to many of those spots…I know my buddy enjoyed it…up in ND…Scott Fransen was the person from the show…
