The flush

That is a good point, some people have to pay Hunt, some people have to be Gucci and stay at a lodge, some people need these TV shows like The flash to figure out how to hunt. The thing is some of these states are getting overrun with hunters in certain areas. I've been seeing it in the last 5 years or so.
You think it only happens there? It’s more of a product of lack of decent hunting. I grew up hunting in Kansas both public and private. When the hunting was good in Iowa, Nebraska, the Dakotas crowds were never an issue. But when Iowa and Nebraska tanked, along with a downturn in the Dakotas, it was like a dog trailer fucking parade in parts of Kansas. Absolutely ridiculous at times trying to hunt or find a room. Much of that was caused by social media. This is what makes SD so special. Year after year it takes a beating and still allows a guy like my neighbor a first experience that impressed him immensely. If we want to do something we should focus our energy on fixing some of these other states.

Travis Frank seems like a helluva nice guy. I like that his dog is a mix too. Not a fan of how he lets it go a couple hundred yards out, but to each their own. Is rooster tales still on? I havent seen it in a while, Id rather see pheasant hunting vs grouse in the MN woods.
He show definitely loves Prairie Storm, OnX for showing where theyre at, and I feel like Travis didnt buy his Benelli o/u, but the show has to make money. Almost everything on the outdoor channel or similar is bs southern deer hunting with some dude whispering in a southern drawl, so seeing a bird hunting show is entertaining. I wish theyd do more turkey hunting shows. A good one on Youtube is the Hunting Public.

The only watchable pheasant videos (for me at least) are solo hunters with their dog/dogs. I don't see the appeal in marching in a line of multiple guys and screaming "ROOSTER/HEN" when a bird gets up. When it comes to Youtube I think Eric Forrester is the best to do it. Wish he had more pheasant content, but I love his stuff. I try to make my videos very similar.

My favorite "show" guy was in a field in SD hunting pheasants. The birds must have been wild, as the "hero dude" missed all 3 shots when the camera was on him. Of course, he had more excuses than anyone could think of as to why he missed. I saw the guy later that year in Wall Drug during deer season, looking rather forlorn that nobody recognized this big star in their midst. I think the guy fell in love with the bottle a long time ago, if you listen to him talk.

It’s entertainment. I’ll watch it, I’m not offended by it at all. In a way I feel this thread reads as I would see an IPA snob or Starbucks snob casting stones about Busch Latte’s or the comparable. While I may raise my eyebrow if I saw all the dudes touching each others butts (I have yet to see it) I’d still choose it over shows like Dancing with the Batchelor.

Perhaps I don’t understand the “ass grabbing” terminology. I suspect if we had a doll and asked “show me where the “The Flush” touched you……we’d guess the location.

It’s not like there are many other options, so I’m happy it’s an option, and not sure I understand the “Anti” unless it Amy ne rooted in jealousy.

Ass grabbing means messing around like a chump. Those TV shows are all staged,or they don't hunt them at all before those guys show up.

The Flush did a show 4 years ago with one of my good friends…he’s a top wildlife photographer, gets covers a lot in the major publications…it was all legit, I hunt that area and have been to many of those spots…I know my buddy enjoyed it…up in ND…Scott Fransen was the person from the show…
