years ago layout hunting I shot a nice drake goldeneye , when my brother in-law picked it up he drove past me in the layout boat........the duck was headless , but did have a band on it , it was 14 yrs old.

Kind of a double this year while dove hunting w/my 4 month old SM I shot a dove and it went down in a bogy area , I walked Bruno to where I saw it fall and let him work. About 10 sec later he dives in some weeds and pulls out a muskrat (that he just killed) I took it from him and sent him back...

what components do you have to work with?

I had Garmin products and had issues w/them......that did not bother me but their VERY POOR customer service did. The T&B system is very nice!!

Anyone have experience using the Dogtra path finder mini GPS system? I run the T&B dual system now just looking for a GPS system to run with the collars I am already using any feed back would be appreciated.....thanks much Jay

I have a Browning 525 in 28ga that (for me) I shoot very well wish I could use it for pheasant, but I dont think its enough gun as a general rule.

I have a Citori lighting in 16ga as well , it is my go to pheasant gun.

I for the most part use o/u shotguns , I will say though that caring my browning Twelvette in the early season when 1 oz of #5.5 shot will do the trick is very enjoyable , of course that gun and holding only 2 shots opens up a whole different can of worms..LOL
