Snow conditions

After the recent snowstorm in Minnesota this past weekend, wondering about snow conditions for Watertown to Redfield. Weather map is all over the place from 10" to 2".

I'm in Aberdeen and we got less than 2" in this last storm. I was in Watertown yesterday and I don't think they got any more than we did. But I think if you get south and east of Watertown the amount of snow probably starts going up quite fast. My daughter lives in Redfield and they didn't get much there either.

Here's a couple of web sites that I find helpful in determining snow depth:

1. National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center

2. Wunderground.com

Wunderground offers city information from volunteers. I didn't find Watertown, but assume they have lots of snow. Also the state of SD has a web site that indicates cameras positions along roadways throughout SD and can show photos of road conditions...this is posted on the Dept of Transportation web site.
