Got our acceptance letter today from USDA on the CRP. My folks got 80 put in and the outlaws another 15.

Yea it is exciting. Like I have said I'll get to manage the habitat, hunt it and not have to pay the taxes.
 
Good Deal Moeller & Landman - Happy For You Guys!!!...Hope it's in the werks for some CO landowners too - not so much whether I can hunt it or not, but just to know that there is ample quality wildlife-habitat still being preserved out there somewhere! :thumbsup:

We got our land approved and the paperwork is already signed....Ahhh! Feels great to be able to contribute back to the conservation initiative and I'm really glad they got this signup implemented. Hope they continue it for many years to come.

I was just down at FSa today and they got me in for another 25 acres of CP5a trees and about 20 acres of Quail buffers for 2011.

Spraying my new CP37 tomorrow with roundup and the disked winter wheat stubble really greened up. 1 more disk pass in Oct and plant in Nov.1, kick back and watch biurd production in June
