Aberdeen area

I stay at the BW when in Aberdeen. There are a couple of small motels near Hecla if your hunting north of town.
 
I went to an auction, a Mopar auction out there several years ago, and stayed at a decent mom and pop place in Aberdeen, I can't remember the name of it but it was old and had not been remodeled.
 
The further you get out of Aberdeen (or any other larger town) the more likely you are able to find a true motel where you park your truck in front of your room.

When I was younger we loved to be able to do this. Couple lawn chairs, cold brew, and the barbeque cooking the wild game to perfection. Walk the dogs across the small parking lot to the grassy area for a stretch.

That's what I look for, but those places are actually getting to be kind of expensive.
 
I lived in Aberdeen for over 30 years. Moved away 14 years ago. It appears that the "mom & pop" motels have all closed doors in Aberdeen.
 
I've stayed in pretty much every hotel in Aberdeen. Used to spend 4-5 days per week there for work for nearly 4 years, and still have occasional jobsite or customer meetings that I need to overnight for. I've spent a lot of nights tailgating in the Super 8 East parking lot drinking the free keg beer and grilling burgers while getting the hunting report as guys would return from the field.

Pretty much all of the hotels in Aberdeen are welcoming to hunters & dogs.

Take your pic really. Pretty sure most of em allow dogs. Town Place has kitchenettes. Ramkota is a little pricey for the rooms I think but its on the ideal side of town to go west or north. Holiday Inn has a slide for kids which is popular. My Place and Fairfield are the newer hotels in town.

I've always stayed in either chain hotels or Airbnbs in/around Aberdeen. As others have noted, most all hotels in the area allow dogs, but fees vary greatly so check before booking. Given how popular upland hunting is in the area, I would have though there would be a larger selection of Airbnbs and VRBOs but there just aren't many that allow dogs.

I know that place I think. The one I know had a kuchen bakery next to it. Was pretty run down the last time I stayed there, but for years it was really convenient.

None that I'm aware of but you might give the Chamber of Commerce a call and ask them.
