Biggest flush or field numbers?

I’m curious as to what’s the biggest pheasant flush, or we like to call them pheasant boils, anyone has seen this year in Kansas. Don’t need to say where in KS you were. Just curious if there’s any strong numbers out there anywhere.
Our biggest flush we saw was about 30 on opening day near Great Bend but not on our land.
We just got back from South Dakota and saw some fields that would have about 60 birds and flushes of 30, usually all hen flushes of 30.
Plenty of pheas to get me excited but I’ve seen a thousand in a field before. REAL EXCITING WHEN THAT HAPPENS.

I think the big numbers of pheasants are a thing of the past in Kansas for the most part. Just too much habitat loss. And the good habitat gets pounded.

One bird was the biggest we saw. Two days of hunting and didn’t have multiple pheasants flush a single time. Was in SC/SW area. Killed birds but far from impressive and nothing like it was back when I regularly went.

The first field I was in yesterday had 20ish hens and only 1 rooster in it. Most coming out of 2 flushes. Was another 4 or 5 hrs. before I got into a few more birds and 430 before I finally killed one.

Got up around 20 hens and one rooster last weekend. Didn't have one single, all groups. The pessimism here is as almost as bad as the deer hunters on the bowsite forum. Ridiculous.

Had a nice flush of about 20 yesterday, all hens. About 15 years ago, my son and I had over 150 come out of a draw.

Why do these posts always end up in a p—-sing match? I say to each there own. If a person enjoys their style of hunting and they feel they are successful who are we to judge?

Cause we have too many know-it-all's on here. Some are know-to-little's. Duck66, Browndog, AKP, and myself have been hunting here for years. I started upland hunting Kansas in the early 70's. Kansan started last week.

Oh, I think Kansas may know what he’s talking about when it comes to quail hunting in SEK And I find his enthusiasm and attitude refreshing. Besides he represents the future of hunting. As I said to each their own.

Well he did not bring any enthusiasm to this thread. And I fixed my "pessimism".

Spent the last week in NC Kansas. Had one flush of 15 hens out of the end of a fenceline. Then had a roughly 35-40 bird flush out of milo stubble 75 yards ahead immediately after a single rooster went up and was shot.

Know-it-all's ? I don't care who you are that's some funny shit right there.

Be happy with your flushes of 2,4 or 6 birds. I have 32 hours in the field so far this fall in my area and do not have a bird in my vest. Only had a chance at 3 or 4. Im embarrassed to say that one of them was a 2 foot putt.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I simply stated I got up 20 hens out of a ditch. How could you ever say I'm a "know it all" from that? I have only only asked questions on this forum, not tried to "bestow my knowledge" on people, yet you call me a know it all?

I'm sure in your eons and eons of hunting experience you've seen many thousands flush at once. Back before pheasants and quail were endangered in Kansas, of course.

Sometimes I wonder if you're just a 15 year old kid trolling on the internet trying to start confrontations. You're not any more agreeable on the bowsite forum either.

First, I did not call you anything. Second, had you not made your "pessimism" comment this thread would not be where it is.
