Ok, you heard it here first....this season is going to be terrible...why? Because everything looks really good at this point...the past winter was pretty favorable, the spring thus far was pretty favorable, and the weather forecast into mid-june looks quite favorable! And, when i was out there may 15-17th it looked great....so, whenever i make predictions they always get goofed up....something will go wrong! But, walking around with a nice double gun following my terrible dogs is always fun, so even if there are no birds it will be great exercise!!!!! Seriously, things look pretty darned good!!!! Drought, hail, wildfire, snow, sleet, poultry-eating grizzlies, extreme mall developments, horizon to horizon parking lots, vladir putin, fracking, west nile virus, pheasant ebola virus, al queda...something is gonna get 'em...or not? Say your prayers...the next 3 weeks are key!!! Drink moderately...or heavily...or not at all...this is the time!!!!!! Oh yeah, heat, wind, blowing dirt, what am i forgetting????? Large mammals lying on nests...large mammals defecating on nests...something could get 'em!!!! Hope not!!!!!

HOOOO-HAAAAAA!!!!!! I am just getting going!!!! actually, as we all know, the destruction of habitat is the biggest enemy to wildlife...and it is happening at an alarming rate, but, unless i own the land, I can't dicate what happens to it...I put one quarter into perpetual WRP, but I bot that at 600/acre...I can't afford 6000/acre!!!! darn...wish steve ballmer liked wildlife and not basketball teams...imagine what two billion could do???? he could buy 520 square miles at 6k/acre...actually, it is about the size of a county like sanborn or miner...that wouldn't create buzz like the la clippers creates...but I would love it!!!! although I would not get to hunt it...

I believe there was some very heavy flooding rains out that way over the weekend. If that's the case let's hope it was isolated.

Banger, the grizzleys are up on my farm. Saw 3 of them licking deep fried pheasant bones tonight out by the burn pit.
