Hunting Season

Yep found Peseant in Colorado enjoyed it so much got a GSP an O/U and don't think I am looking back.

Have a Good 'Urn,
bones

I like them both, upland will always be my favorite. Do more waterfowling though, good hunting is so close to home. My O/U and my WPG fit my needs perfectly.

Pheasant hunting is my biggest vice. I'm lucky enough to go duck hunting in the morning and have the rest of the day to pursue pheasants.

Have you ever gave up waterfowl for more time upland hunting?

I'll give up a waterfowl hunt to chase wild birds any day:). But hands down give up hunting pen birds for a waterfowl hunt any day.

I like to hunt and eat waterfowl too much, and had too many good times out there to give it up all together for more time hunting upland though.

Where I hunt pheasants I combine the duck hunt. I always work on the pheasant limit first. :)
I only hunt wild pheasants and I jump shoot ducks. Can't sit in a blind watching decoys.

I once thought duck hunting would become my new passion. After buying the gear (some of it annually) and "sharing" public marshes I'd had enough. Besides, sitting in the cold isn't as comfortable as walking and the dogs seem to enjoy being on the move a bit more.

100% upland hunter here:thumbsup:

I really enjoy both but having my druthers, I'd hunt wild roosters. Being in Texas, my choice is made for me as we don't have much of a wild phez population except up in the panhandle.

LOL, you really can't compare the two. Walking for Pheasants, Grouse, Quail Etc. Or sit and call for Ducks and Geese. I like it all. Bird hunting of any kind is better than anything in the world for me. Pheasant hunting or duck hunting It's still hunting, it's all I need.
