80% ish would hunt around windmills.
An unsurprising and definitive number.
I wager that there would be some happy pups if they heard the results.

SW MN is packed full of Wind farms. I hunted a pc of WIA land this year that was surounded by them. I think they look horible on the landscape and I cant stand to look at them but we did mangage to shoot a few birds there.

I wonder if all the "Green People", the "Tree Huggers" and PETA are aware of all the birds that are slaughtered by these wind farms???

Sure glad for folks like you Zeb.:)
Shows so much what our children and grand kids, as far as nature, hunting :( have to look forward to.:(

See the crap even,:( on hunting forums.

Those of you that have no problem hunting amongst the wind farms.
Could you explain?
We that would not:eek: made it somewhat clear.

Id rather hunt a wind farm on a 30 degree day with a little niose in the background then a chunk of CRP/ grassland during a blizzard. Actually both are OK with me if they have birds. I live in Missouri, beggars cant be choosers. American jobs are better than sending our money to people who shoot at our soldiers. my 2 cents

Sure...you must have missed a few posts:

"Depends.
Would not matter to the dog a bit and if the dog was the focus of the day then little be it for me to complain...same as kicking up a bird on a Preserve, to a degree.
Same if one substitutes a kid or an old friend for the dog.

Druthers involved tho, I would rather not see a wind turbine...or a fence or a house or a well location or a empty Busch Lite can or another hunter's vehicle or, especially, another hunter as all of these and more can affect a hunting experience.
Same issue back in the Appalatchians where wind farms are being lined up on many ridges and folks chirp that the Viewshed is being damaged.
I agree, it is...would rather not see wind turbines lined up as if ready for a charge at Balaclava. Don't feel they add too much to energy independence and may carry costs yet received but I would not take a view so narrow as to let any spinning fan ruin my day.
So, all considered, I would likely hunt pheasants in a wind farm."
