Youth Pheasant Hunt?

Hey guys. I was interested in taking a couple of my younger cousins out pheasant hunting this year and thought there was a youth season that preceded opening season. I just checked the regulations brochure and didn't see anything. Am I not thinking straight or has there been youth seasons in the past? I know they offer a youth season for waterfowl; maybe that's what I'm thinking of.

Now that i think of it, i was on the DOW website a few days ago under small game in the hunting part, and one of the articles they had on there was the youth pheasant hunt, i strictly remember it because i was sitting there with my 9 year old cousin who i was asking to go! i will have to look back and see if i can find it!

I don't think Colorado has one. We always took the kids to Kansas for theirs and had a great time!
