Your Favorite Local Lunch Spots?

Fairly random question, but I thought it might be a fun thread too.

Was looking for a quality local establishment for a post hunt beer and lunch in Brown County. Anyone have any recommendations?

Building off that, what are some folks favorite post hunt haunts in Minnesota?

One of my go-to spots in Southern Minnesota is Kat's Hog Heaven. Unreal pork tenderloin sandwich...

Never made a stop in Jackson before, but I'll have to remember that one! A breaded pork tenderloin is one of the greatest foods there is...

Hunts with a lunch are usually just a sandwich of some kind that I've packed up the night before while driving from one public ground to the next. If I have a small group or am in a little more relaxed atmosphere, it's fun to grill up some burgers or brats or something simple on a small grill.

Most of my Minnesota trips are day hunts, so I am generally in a rush to get back home after. The handful of times I've down overnights in MN usually involves a cheap hotel in Marshall and whatever restaurant is near.

Big fan of D's Thai when hunting around Marshall. I live near Madelia so it doesn't really count as a road destination but I've ended more than a few hunts at Plaza Fiesta there. Good if you like tex-mex, and a nice pair up with Lost Sanity Brewing across the street. And if you're up around Lac Qui Parle, stopping at Talking Waters in Montevideo is a must. You can get popcorn with your beer...so it's kind of like a place to eat.
