I am from South East Wyoming and I just found this forum and it seems pretty slick. I am hoping to learn from all you fine folks and help to make the most of the hunting out here.

Welcome! A friend of mine just got back from a pheasant hunt in north western WY. He limited out both days. He did hunt private land, but said that bird numbers were great!
 
I stay in the South East corner of the state, and so far this year has been pretty decent. I won't go to my private bird farm until the season is over. I would prefer to shoot as many free state birds that I can, before I have to go after the ones that I bought in the summer.

Three weeks in Montana in September chasing Huns was great. A few trips to the local areas was OK too. I'm in KS now looking for quail & not doing so well but it is just the first day.
