WTB GPS for dog

I've waited too long for this and cussed myself all weekend for not having one. Now there's a thread in the KS forum about it and it reminded me that we have a classifieds section here:rolleyes:

If anyone has any sort of GPS equipment they're interested in selling or giving to a great guy:D, I'm in the market. I'm not real picky about what brand/model yet b/c I've never owned one, so anything would be an improvement.

look on gun dog forum seems like I seen one on there chad ?
 
The mailer I just got from Cabelas showed the 320/dc40 combo at $399. That's as low as I've ever seen it. I don't have any version of these things, but many people seem to prefer the older 220/dc40 combo. Can't find those new anymore, but there should be plenty on the secondhand market.
 
I've been using the 220 and the DC 40 for about 4 years with four dogs and I haven't had any problems. I saw that Cabelas deal and if I needed another one I would buy it.

As much as you hunt, I would go with the Garmin, rather than the TEK.
A friend of mine has a Tek, and the system does not seem to hold up.

I'm 1/3 of the way to being able to afford the Garmin now. So long as nothing happens in the next month or so, Tate dog is gonna be all uptown with a new tracking device for the last month of the season:thumbsup:

You will love it at first I about threw it as far as I could throw it but then the more I messed with it I said to myself wow how did I live in the 80s for so long:thumbsup: bell bottoms and big hair bands :D
