Here in Eastern Nebraska pheasant and quail are darn near gone. Ummm what do we do.
with low bird numbers

go west or north west my friend or wear there is still birds & habitat in NE its around & im from MN & thinking of heading to NE for pheasants & quail just got to find the birds there not all gone every wear in NE i see them this spring...

For what it is worth...I spent a few springs near Beatrice, NE chasing snows and I was amazed at the amount of crowing we would hear. I found it easy to get permission around their. Of course its a big difference with snows versus pheasants.
With that said, I have never been around in the fall to see any bird activity.
